Cool, huh? It has a message that’s for sure.
It seems like Mario’s art is popping up all over the place, and with good reason. His art is detailed, stunning but even more important – it is thought provoking with strong themes and messages that artists everywhere can appreciate.
When I first saw it i had to investigate and see more! I could tell it was made in Photoshop and that it took a fair bit of skill to put together. But most I found myself impressed by the ideas he had for his artwork.
You may notice that a lot of his most impressive work is photo manipulation (done in Adobe Photoshop). Take one look at his process and you see the visualization behind Mario’s work. Starting with an idea he builds from there. Like all great ideas, they can change and evolve in different ways into the impressive works of art which have really earned him his reputation.
Mario is a freelance illustrator in Murcia, Spain. He’s a part of the Hysterical Minds artistic collective and even writes tutorials for PSD Tuts like creating Horror themed movie photos, action packed movie photos and creating a racing snail (?). Each one with a unique idea but with straight forward steps to achieving the desired look.
He has also done work for Ashent, Unexpect, Cold Fuzion, Science and Fiction Magazine, The Last Relapse, Pásatelo Teatro and KIO amongst others. Beyond that his stunning work has been showcased all over the world in Publications and Magazines like Advanced Photoshop, 3Edged and Art & Design Magazine. So in the same nature, I’ve dug up a few images of Mario’s and put them up for showcase here you to see. Scroll down to see more!
