When you first start graphic design, the idea of designing a logo for one of the bigger businesses in town is pretty damn exciting.
I designed this logo for Hervey Bay’s most popular pub (at the time) when I was 19 and starting out. It’s pretty obvious, the yellow sand, blue water and house sitting on top – The Beach House. I frequented this pub to drop my one liners and act like a tool a lot back in those days.
This logo has since been re-imagined and made more modern (this logo was designed well over 10 years ago), but it’s one of the first logos I designed that I was truly proud of.
